Brian Higgins is a member of the United States House of Representatives serving New York’s 26th congressional district, which includes portions of Erie and Niagara Counties.
In the 116th Congress, Brian serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means, where he also serves as a Member of the Subcommittees on Health, Trade, and Social Security. In addition, Brian currently serves as a member of the House Committee on the Budget. Brian is a Co-Chair of the Northern Border Caucus, from which he advocates for federal policies that recognize the unique needs of northern border communities – efforts which serve to strengthen economic and security ties with our Canadian neighbors. Brian also serves as one of four Co-Chairs of the bipartisan House Cancer Caucus, and as a Co-Chair of the Revitalizing Older Cities Caucus. Additionally, Brian is a member of the Great Lakes Task Force, the House Manufacturing Caucus, and the Northeast-Midwest Congressional Coalition.p.
A graduate of Buffalo State College, Brian also earned an advanced degree in Public Policy and Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Brian has been awarded an honorary Doctorate degree in Humane Letters from Daemen College, and an honorary Doctorate degree in Laws from Medaille College.

Mark J. Grozio is the Niagara County Legislator and has served the 3rd District of LaSalle since 2013.
He is proud to serve on Niagara County's Administration, Economic Development, Infrastructure & Facilities, and Refuse Disposal District Committees.
A 32-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 237, Mark is the current Assistant Business Manager and is a strong advocate for local labor. He has received Solar Training at the University of Knoxville, Tennessee and Labor Studies at the National Labor College in Maryland. He a past member of the the City of Niagara Falls Planning Board and currently sits on the Niagara Falls Electrical Board.
Mark was born and raised in LaSalle where he currently works and lives with his wife Lynda. Together they have raised 3 children.

Mayor Michelle Roman was raised by her parents, Bill and Katie Richter, along with eight siblings on Niagara Street in Lockport. Roman and her husband, Derek, have in turn raised their sons here in the city, spending the last 17 years in their family home on Cherry Street.
A graduate of Lockport Senior High School, Roman has earned an A.A.S. degree in human services with an emphasis in early childhood education from Niagara County Community College; a B.S. in psychology from SUNY College at Brockport; and a M.S. in exceptional education from SUNY Buffalo State College.
Roman has been in the field of education for over 25 years, 20 of which have been in public education. Currently, she is a special education teacher and the response to intervention coordinator for the junior-senior high school in Holley Central School District. Roman has had additional training in leadership, health and safety, negotiations and facilitation, and currently holds CPR/AED certification, as well.
Throughout the years in Lockport, Roman has volunteered with a number of local organizations including the Lockport Parks and Flowers Partners, Literacy Volunteers at the Lockport Library, Lockport Little League, as well as VFW Post 2535 Auxiliary as the treasurer and currently a trustee.
As mayor, she looks forward to partnering with the residents, workers, businesses and community organizations to continue to build toward a more positive future for the City of Lockport.

Austin J. Tylec is a life-long North Tonawanda resident and received his Bachelor & Master’s Degree from the University of Buffalo, both in Architecture. From 2014 through 2022 he worked for a WNY Architecture, Engineering, & Planning firm primarily focused on municipal projects.
Mr. Tylec was elected to serve as Alderman-at-Large in The City of North Tonawanda from 2018 to the end of 2021. While in office he proposed items such as an Ethics Committee, Financial Stability Committee, Created a Complete Count Committee to increase awareness of the 2020 Census, and worked with state representatives to bring over $300,000 in state funding for improvements to our Pinewoods Park, City Market, Police Department, DPW, and more. In addition, he continued to advocate for a transparent and accessible government focused on our businesses & community member's needs.
In 2022 Mr. Tylec was elected to a 4-year term as Mayor of North Tonawanda. His goals are to expand business growth, work with our state officials to bring in additional funding for services, support our first responders to keep our city safe, address financial concerns the NYS Comptroller’s audit exposed, and market North Tonawanda as a destination for visitors, families, and businesses to thrive. Overall, to bring a new energy and perspective to how our city government functions.
